2024-2025 Tour
Solo concerts tour across Canada organized by JM Canada including masterclasses in Carleton-sur-mer and at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John’s for the students of Tracy Anne Smith, internationally acclaimed guitarist. Tommy Dupuis is also sponsored in strings by the French company Savarez.
Album: The Many Sounds of the Guitar
After being unsatisfied for a long time with what the guitar had to offer to him, and being slightly jealous of other more popular instruments, Tommy Dupuis shares in his first ever album the many qualities that make the guitar unique and worth celabrating.
Both adepts of classical music and newcomers will be charmed by his transcription of violin music by Bach, music from The Wizard of Oz, Chopin's nocturne arranged for the guitar, Eastern European inspired music, a piece specifically written for him by his friend the talented Quebec composer Vincent Pollender, and many more surprises. Let this fascinating journey mesmerize you and may you also fall in love with the guitar.
This self produced album will be released on March 13th at his concert at the Joseph-Rouleau Hall with JM Canada in their Happy Hour concert series as part of his tour.

Sonata for Solo Guitar for Tommy Dupuis

The composer Jessica Hunt, who has been commissioned by one of the best north american orchestras, the internationally renowned Philadelphia Orchestra, is currently collaborating with Tommy Dupuis for a large scale solo guitar piece, a sonata. The first movement is scheduled to be premiered on April 15th in his solo recital in the Leith Symington Griswold Hall.
Jessica Hunt also has been commissioned by the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra (The Eagle Tree), the Gaudete Brass Quintet (seven works), Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, The Michigan Lighthouse Landmark Legacy Project, Access Contemporary Music, and many others.
Performance Certificate - Peabody Institute
After finishing his mater's degree with the guitar legend Manuel Barrueco (website) and funded by the Peabody Institute and the Quebec Research Funds, Tommy Dupuis is currently completing a Graduate Perfomance Diploma (2024-2025) with full scholarship, again with the internationaly acclaimed guitarist Manuel Barrueco.​
During this degree scheduled to be completed in May 2025, he seeks to bring his artistry to the highest possible level, preparing for the multiple performances ahead for his North American Tour as well as his upcoming album.


Next Concert on Tour : All made up... of Arrangements
Presented for the first time in the summer of 2024 in Sorel and Joliette (picture above), Tommy Dupuis will be presenting this brand new program completely made up of arrangements showcasing the guitar's appropriator side, in other words pieces written for other instruments but arranged for the guitar. Orchestral works from Maurice Ravel, Piano music from Isaac Albéniz, music from John Lennon and Paul McCartney, film music, and many more surprises to discover...
This concert will match perfectly Tommy Dupuis's goal to appeal to both classical music enthusiasts and the general public. "All Made up... of Arrangements" is scheduled to be on tour in late 2025 and 2026.
